The No. 3 Yellow Jackets dominated their in-state rival No. 5 Georgia in the Spring Baseball Classic at Truist Park, run ruling the Bulldogs, 14-4.
The Jackets were on fire at the plate, scoring in all but one inning, including a five-run fifth inning. Georgia Tech scored its 14 runs on 14 hits with three doubles and two homers on the evening.
Ryan Zuckerman and Will Baker each left the yard, with Zuckerman’s team-leading 15th homer kicking off the big fifth inning for the Jackets.

Tech starter Carson Ballard gets his fourth win on the bump for the Jackets, pitching four and a third innings with four strikeouts and four earned runs. Jake Lankie and Brett Barfield combined for four strikeouts and just two hits in relief.
