Wisconsin–Whitewater clinched its first national title since 2014, and the third in program history, with a dominant win over Messiah in the 2025 NCAA DIII baseball championship.

In 2025, the tournament featured 64 teams competing across 16 regional brackets, each consisting of four teams in a double-elimination format. The finals included the eight super regional winners. The national champion was determined in a best-of-three final series.
