As the Opposition ups the ante against the electoral rolls revision in Bihar with Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav leading a rally across the state, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin Wednesday joined them in Muzaffarpur, adding ammo to their attacks.
Hitting out at the Election Commission, Stalin accused the poll body of acting as a “puppet” of the BJP and likened the deletion of names from voters list to an “act of terrorism”.
Vouching that the BJP will lose in upcoming elections, Stalin said, “BJP made elections a mockery, people will remove it from power as it has stolen votes.”
Intensifying his criticism of EC, Stalin said that while Rahul Gandhi exposed EC, the poll panel did not respond to his charges. Instead, they asked him to submit and affidavit.
“Rahul has exposed EC but poll panel didn’t respond to his charges, they asked him for an affidavit but he won’t be scared,” he said.
Earlier today, Stalin and DMK MP Kanimozhi arrived in Muzaffarpur district and were welcomed by former Chief Minister Lalu Yadav.
Taking to X, Stalin wrote, “Touchdown #Bihar. The land of respected @laluprasadrjd greets me with fire in its eyes, the soil heavy with every stolen vote.

Rahul Gandhi’s 16-day Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar, a 1,300-km march across 20 districts comes after Election Commission’s revision of votes in Bihar before the state assembly elections, which opposition parties allege has led to the deletion of more than 65 lakh voters.
The yatra was launched on August 17 from Sasaram and will conclude with a rally in Patna on September 1.
Earlier in the day, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav rode motorcycles through the streets of Muzaffarpur district as part of the ongoing Voter Adhikar Yatra. Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was also seen riding pillion on her brother’s motorcycle.
