“I can’t wait to see all my fans, all around the world,” said Kvitova. “Thank you very much for supporting me. It will be a nice journey, and I can’t wait.”
Kvitova had enjoyed a solid final season before going on maternity leave, winning her first WTA 1000 title in nearly five years at the Miami Open and returning to the world’s Top 10. A 2016 Olympic bronze medalist, the Czech lefty is currently unranked.
Her first scheduled tournament will be the ATX Open in Austin, which will begin on February 24.
