The two-time Australian Open champion kicked off her campaign against Caroline Garcia, taking the court in a black tank top and a gray, black and white patterned skirt. But while the color scheme may be toned down, the colorful accessories elevate it to a classic Osaka look.
Bright pops of yellow and orange feature on her Nike GP Challenge 1 Osaka shoes, which also include sunflower details on the upper stitching and tongue that perfectly match her sunflower earring and hair clips.
“On the side (of the shoe) it says, ‘The sun shines where you are.’ Obviously it’s sunflower-themed,” Osaka explained. “I have sunflower earrings. I had things in my hair, but I had to take them out.”
