BJP leaders Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and Yogi Adityanath Wednesday addressed rallies in different parts of Bihar and accused the INDIA bloc of dynastic politics and reminded people of the ‘jungle raj’ under the RJD.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah Wednesday alleged that RJD supremo and former CM Lalu Prasad wants to make his son Tejashwi the CM and Congress leader Sonia Gandhi her son Rahul the PM, while asserting that “both posts were not vacant”.
At a rally in Darbhanga, Shah termed the Mahagathbandhan as ‘thug bandhan’, alleging that Lalu is involved in fodder, bitumen and land-for-jobs scams, while Congress was involved in corruption cases worth `12-lakh crore. In Begusarai, Shah attacked Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi saying that the latter came to Bihar a few months ago and launched ‘save infiltrators yatra’, referring to Voter Adhikar Yatra.
“Rahul Gandhi and Lalu Prasad want to ensure that names of infiltrators remain in voter list… Tejashwi and Rahul want to bring back ‘jungle raj’,” he alleged.
At another rally in Samastipur, he said, “The Bihar polls are to prevent the return of ‘jungle raj’ to the state.” He alleged that the INDIA bloc wants to snatch the title of ‘Jannayak’ of former CM and Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur.
“Modi ji bestowed Bharat Ratna upon Jannayak Karpoori Thakur. Now, they (opposition) want to take away the title from Karpoori ji. We will not let this happen,” he said.
Shah said the NDA government gives free ration to 8.52 crore people of Bihar, formed the Makhana Board, and provides 125 units of free power.

At another rally in Patna, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said a two-thirds majority for the NDA in the Bihar Assembly will be a befitting tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his birthday on November 14, the result day.
In Darbhanga district, Singh slammed the RJD, alleging that it made an “unrealistic promise” of providing a government job to each household. “We will release our manifesto Thursday and implement every single word.”
Singh said no allegations of corruption can be levelled against CM Nitish Kumar, who governed the state for 20 years, while it was a matter of grief the entire family of a former CM is accused of irregularities.
He asserted that under Nitish Kumar’s leadership, Bihar’s GDP stands at 14%—second among all states in India. Accusing the opposition parties in the state of making “false promises” of undoing amendments to the Waqf Act, he said they cannot do these, as the law was passed in Parliament. “Opposition parties want to secure votes of Bangladeshi infiltrators,” he said.

In Raghunathpur of Siwan district, UP CM Yogi Adityanath said NDA allies would thwart any attempt to bring back ‘jungle raj’. “Forces are active to revive ‘mafia raj’ in Bihar, but nip them in the bud… ‘Double engine’ government in Bihar has zero tolerance for those creating anarchy… It is working in that direction. For the rest, the bulldozer is there,” he said.
“Do not allow forces, like RJD, Congress, which embrace criminals, to come to power… Forces like Congress and RJD are habitual of ‘sajda’ (prostration) before the tomb of Aurangzeb… Do not allow such forces which embrace criminals to come to power.”
