Ninety-nine titles aren’t earned with many vacation days. Over the years, Djokovic earned at least four titles from each eligible tournament month of the year. November, January and September are his top-performing months, with Djokovic often saving his best for late in the year.

Winning ATP Metz in November 2006 was just the beginning of Djokovic’s late-season success. He’s won 15 times in November: one Metz, seven Paris Masters and seven ATP Finals.

January stands at 14 total titles, with the Australian Open accounting for the majority. The other four titles come from ATP 250 Adelaide and ATP Doha.

Although September is Djokovic’s third-most successful month of the year, he has the most variety of tournament wins there. He’s won 12 titles in all, including four US Opens, six ATP 500s in Beijing, one ATP 500 in Tokyo—and even one ATP Masters 1000 Rome, during COVID-19.

Djokovic’s sole doubles title was lifted in June (2010); his first singles title in the month of June wouldn’t be for another six years, when he lifted the Roland Garros trophy for the first time.
