Two top-10 teams fell in Tuesday night men’s hoops. Recap all the action here.

Georgia stuns No. 3 Florida, keeping their March hopes alive

Georgia upsets Florida men's basketball

Georgia knocked off No. 3 Florida 88-83, handing the Gators their first loss since Feb. 1.

Florida (24-4, 11-4 SEC) held a 12-game winning streak over Georgia heading into this matchup, with the Bulldog’s last win coming in March of 2019.

Georgia (17-11, 5-10 SEC) jumped out of the gate, holding a 39-13 lead 12 minutes into the first half. The Gators were able to climb back inside 20 in the closing minutes of the first, trailing 51-35 at the break. Entering this matchup, Florida was allowing just 30.7 first-half points per game.

The duo of Silas Demary Jr. and Asa Newell combined for 24 points at the break as Georgia shot 67% from the field and 7-9 from beyond the arc heading to the locker rooms.

The Gators slowly clawed back, pulling within 10 a handful of times and eventually taking their first lead of the game with 90 seconds remaining behind a 13-0 run down the stretch.

However, Georgia guard Blue Cain hit the shot of the night for the Dawgs, snapping their four-minute scoring drought with a clutch 3-pointer with 47 seconds to play. A stop on the ensuing possession moved the game to the charity stripe, where Georgia sealed the win in front of its home crowd.

The Bulldogs picked up a necessary win to stay in the hunt for March with just three games remaining, while Florida will try to get back on track against No. 12 Texas A&M on Saturday.

Oklahoma State cruises past No. 9 Iowa State

Oklahoma State upsets Iowa State men's basketball

Oklahoma State took down No. 9 Iowa State 74-68, handing the Cyclones their second-straight loss.

The Cowboys (14-14, 6-11 Big 12) did not trail the entire game in front of their home crowd after cruising to a 40-26 lead at the half.

Each team struggled from the field in the first 20 minutes, but Oklahoma State scored 15 points off 11 first-half turnovers from Iowa State. The Cyclones finished with 18 turnovers, leading to 24 points for the Cowboys.

Abou Ousmane lead the charge for OSU, tallying a game-high 25 points with six rebounds and four steals. The 6-foot-10 forward went a perfect 8-8 from the line.

Cyclone leading scorer Curtis Jones went just 2-8 from the field — his third-worst shooting percentage of the season.

Iowa State (21-7, 11-6 Big 12) clawed back within double-digits a few times, but the Cowboys kept responding, preventing a Cyclones run down the stretch.
