A day after taking oath for a record 10th term, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Friday finalised the portfolio distribution for all 26 ministers in the new NDA government. The list of departments assigned to each minister has reportedly been submitted to Governor Arif Mohammad Khan.
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has taken charge of the Home Ministry, signalling the BJP’s strengthened grip on key departments. Vijay Sinha will head Mines and Geology, while Ramkripal Yadav has been given the Agriculture Department in the new lineup.
