Naomi Osaka is itching to serve up more style in 2025. The four-time Grand Slam singles champion revisited some of her most iconic on-court outfits in a look book to her Instagram story on Thursday, writing on the companion app Threads that she treats “every Grand Slam like the Met Gala”—while teasing more to come.
The four-time major champion, who has been with Nike since 2019 and boasts her own line, is also known for her custom looks designed in collaboration with the sportswear giant. Some of the kits that Osaka flashed back to included the orange-and-black pleated dress designed in collaboration with Japanese luxury brand Sacai she wore to defend her first Grand Slam title at the 2019 US Open; her national kit for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, complete with red-and-white braids; and her 2024 Roland Garros dress, a high-neck, asymmetrical black number with a white underskirt, which she called “underrated.”
The crown jewel that “reigns supreme,” Osaka wrote, was the head-turning Yoon Ahn dress she wore in two colorways during last year’s US Open, which came in day (green) and night (black) editions and featured a statement-making bow at the back.
