The 12th-ranked Muchova will have another opportunity to improve her Paris seeding at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome, the second of consecutive WTA 1000 events.
Muchova is currently the Czech No. 1. Countrywoman Barbora Krejcikova, last year’s Wimbledon champion and the 2021 French Open title holder, is yet to compete this season due to an ongoing back issue.
