The Indian Cricketers Association (ICA) has announced a One-Time Benefit (OTB) for the spouses of deceased ICA members after their second board meeting of FY 2025-26 in Bangalore, where other significant initiatives were also discussed. The Board has approved a lump sum amount of Rs. 1,00,000 (One Lakh Rupees) to be dispersed to eligible spouses upon approval. Initially, approximately 50 beneficiaries are expected to benefit from this initiative, ensuring immediate support to families in need.

The Indian Cricketers Association said that the initiative “aims to provide financial assistance and honour the contributions of our members’ families during their times of loss”.

According to a statement released by the Indian Cricketers Association, the benefit will be applicable to only spouses of deceased Indian Cricketers Association members, with the exception of International Test Cricketers. This benefit is distinct from the existing One-Time Benefit for Members.
