While Chalamet didn’t take home the award for Best Actor (Adrian Brody did, for his role in The Brutalist), Gauff hopes she’ll go all the way in her big Southern California showcase. She’ll need to be a lot better in March than in February: since reaching the Australian Open quarterfinals, the third-ranked Gauff took two losses in Doha and Dubai; she’s on a three-match losing streak. Her BNP Paribas Open draw will be revealed Monday afternoon.
