Central Railway Mega Block News: Central Railway (CR) will regulate the operations of several trains on Sunday, October 19, due to a scheduled mega block. The block has been planned to carry put essential maintenance work to ensure safe and smooth train operations.
Central Railway Mega Block Mumbai
In a statement, Dr. Swapnil Nila, Chief Public Relations Officer, Central Railway said: “Mumbai Division will operate Mega Block on its Main line suburban sections, on 5th and 6th line between Vidyavihar and Thane stations for carrying out various engineering and maintenance works on Sunday, 19.10.2025.”
Central Railway Mega Block Timing
The main line block will be in place on the 5th and 6th lines between Vidyavihar and Thane stations from 08:00 hrs to 13:30 hrs on October 19.
Central Railway Mega Block Trains Affected
Following UP Mail/Express trains will be diverted on UP Fast line at Thane and will be re-diverted at Vidyavihar station and will arrive destination 10 to 15 minutes late.

Central Railway Mega Block 19 October
CSMT – Chunabhatti / Bandra DN Harbour line from 11.40 hrs to 16.40 hrs & Chunabhatti / Bandra- CSMT UP Harbour line from 11.10 hrs to 16.10 hrs
DN Harbour line services to Vashi /Belapur/Panvel leaving CSMT from 11.16 hrs to 16.47 hrs and DOWN Harbour line services to Bandra/Goregaon leaving CSMT from 10.48 hrs to 16.43 hrs will remain suspended.

UP Harbour line services for CSMT leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 hrs to 15.20 hrs and UP Harbour line services for CSMT leaving Goregaon/ Bandra from 10.45 hrs to 17.13 hrs will remain suspended.
Special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) at 20 minutes frequency during the block period.
Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 hrs to 18.00 hrs during block period.
