Conference play officially began this past week, shaking up the Power 37 rankings as BYU enters the top 10 and Michigan State falls to No. 13.

Here are the latest rankings:

1. Arizona (1): The Wildcats opened the Big 12 with a win at Utah to remain undefeated.
2. Michigan (2): The Wolverines are dominating teams just like UNLV did in the early 1990s. A 30-point win over USC was the latest example.
3. Iowa State (3): The Cyclones haven’t missed a beat since dominating Purdue in West Lafayette.
4. UConn (4): The Huskies may not run the table in the Big East, but I can’t see them losing the conference title.
5. Purdue (6): The Boilermakers had a convincing win at Wisconsin to keep pace with Michigan.
6. Gonzaga (5): The Zags had to come back against upstart Seattle at home to remain unbeaten in the WCC.
7. Duke (7): The Blue Devils had a struggle at home before outlasting Georgia Tech; then they had a quality road win at Florida State.

8. Houston (10): The Cougars are back to being a title contender.
9. Alabama (11): The Tide had a statement home win over Kentucky.
10. BYU (12): The Cougars opened the Big 12 with a road win at Kansas State.
11. Vanderbilt (13): The Commodores remained undefeated with an SEC opening win over South Carolina.
12. Nebraska (14): The Huskers remained undefeated with a win over Michigan State.
13. Michigan State (8): The Spartans got beat by the Huskers in a thrilling late possession game in Lincoln.
14. Illinois (16): The Illini plucked off Penn State at the Palestra and continue to be a team on the rise.
15. Arkansas (17): The Hogs got a high-profile SEC-opening win over Tennessee.
16. Texas Tech (18): The Red Raiders continue to be one of the hottest teams.
17. Miami (24): Jai Lucas continues to do a marvelous job in his first season in the ACC.
18. Villanova (25): The Wildcats are looking like the second-best team in the Big East.

📊: Latest NET rankings

19. Georgia (28): The Bulldogs had to go to OT but escaped with a quality win over Auburn.
20. Iowa (29): The Hawkeyes handled UCLA quite easily in the second half behind Bennett Stirtz’s stellar play.
21. SMU (NR): The Mustangs are surging after the win over North Carolina.
22. North Carolina (15): The Tar Heels had been rolling before running into the upstart Mustangs.
23. UCF (NR): The Knights earned a top 25 ranking with the home win over Kansas.
24. Louisville (23): The Cardinals split the Bay Area road swing without Mikel Brown Jr.
25. Virginia (22): The Cavaliers lost in triple OT at rival Virginia Tech but then crushed NC State.
26. Kansas (9): I know this is a big drop, but the Jayhawks need to continue to meet the moment in the Big 12 going forward.
27. Seton Hall (27): The Pirates bounced back after the home loss to Villanova with a 16-point comeback win over Creighton.

SPOTLIGHT: How Miami (OH) became college basketball’s unknown unbeaten team

28. TCU (31): The Horned Frogs have won six in a row and took down Baylor in the Big 12 opener.
29. Kentucky (19): No shame in losing at Alabama, but the 15-point margin is concerning.
30. Tennessee (20): The Vols need to show well with two of the next three at home.
31. USC (21): The Trojans got rocked at Michigan like every other team. Two more games remain on this three-game road swing at Michigan and Minnesota.
32. Indiana (NR): The Hoosiers put up 90 on Washington Sunday night and are a few late-game poor possessions at Minnesota away from being undefeated in the Big Ten.
33. Clemson (NR): Brad Brownell has the Tigers once again rising at the right time, winning two on the road to start the ACC.
34. Miami (OH) (36): The RedHawks continue to roll, off to a 3-0 start and 15-0 overall.
35. Utah State (37): The Aggies have won five in a row, are 3-0 in the Mountain West and 12-1 overall.
36. Oklahoma (NR): The Sooners have won five in a row and opened the SEC with a convincing win over Ole Miss.
37. Mississippi State (NR): The Bulldogs have won five in a row, including a thrilling overtime win at Texas.

Dropped out: St. John’s (26), Cal (30), Florida (32), UCLA (33), New Mexico (34), Tulsa (35)
