Since no complaint has been lodged by the family, police said they are yet to file an FIR. Officers of Muni Ki Reti police station in Uttarakhand’s Tehri Garhwal said they have called in a technical team to investigate the reason for the fall.
“We are finding out if it was caused due to the negligence of the operator or the machine. We will check if the firm is complying with all norms,” an officer said.
A video that has gone viral shows the man writhing in pain on a tin sheet as the rope remains suspended in the air.
The Shivpuri Thrill Factory offers several adventure sports, including rope cycling, suspended catch air device (SCAD) jump, and reverse bungee jumping. The firm did not respond to calls seeking comment.

Police said they will record statements of the victim after treatment. Meanwhile, police have demanded that the firm suspend its activities and again seek clearance from authorities.
“Apart from clearances and NOCs, we have also asked them to undertake an audit from a competent technical team and seek their approval for operating again,” said investigating officer Vinod Sharma.
