With the 125 ATP Ranking points earned from his victory, Medjedovic will return to the Top 100, rising to No. 81 in the rankings from No. 115. Altmaier will also improve his position, climbing to No. 52 in the world.
The 2026 edition of the Guerri Napoli Tennis Cup concluded with record-breaking numbers, surpassing the success of 2025 in terms of attendance and overall participation at the club and surrounding fan village during the eight days of competition.
“The organizational and public success of the Guerri Napoli Tennis Cup has been exciting,” said Antonio Santa Maria, General Manager of organizer Master Group Sport. “The setting of the Tennis Club Napoli is unique in the world, but that alone is not enough; it requires efficient organization in every aspect. We paid attention to every detail in terms of services for players and fans to maintain a high level for the event.
“I thank the athletes, the public, the institutions, the partners, and especially the Guerri Group for becoming title sponsor. I also thank the Tennis Club Napoli and its president Riccardo Villari for their trust. Our first goal was to bring Naples back to the center of international tennis, and I believe that after three editions we have fully achieved it.”
