Posting about the alleged incident on social media, Bihar Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said, “Dear brothers and respected Prime Minister… In Bihar, would you call this demon’s rule? Would you call it a depraved state protected by criminals? Or a state of utter lawlessness? Or would you call it the misrule of Modi-Nitish? In this monstrous rule of Modi and Nitish, every day the dignity of mothers, sisters, daughters, and children is being violated, but not a single minister or deputy chief minister dares to utter a word about the uncontrolled incidents of crime, rape, and corruption.”
“The silence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his two so-called deputies on such burning issues is criminal. If even after such incidents, the blood of supposedly enlightened and justice-loving people does not boil, then understand that such people are outright hardcore casteists and extremely biased,” he said.
