PM Modi Bihar-Bengal Visit LIVE Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar and West Bengal today and inaugurate multiple developmental projects in both states. The Prime Minister is scheduled to launch projects worth Rs 7,200 crore and Rs 5,000 crore in Bihar and West Bengal, respectively. He will also address public gatherings in both the states on Friday. PM Modi is set to visit Motihari in Bihar, and Durgapur in West Bengal, as per his official schedule.
Multiple projects to be launched: PM Modi, in a social media post, said that the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 7,200 crore will be laid in Bihar today. These works cover Software Technology Parks, four new Amrit Bharat trains, road projects and more. In Durgapur in West Bengal, PM Modi will lay the foundation stones for various works and also inaugurate projects worth over Rs 5,000 crore. The projects cover sectors like oil and gas, power, railways, and roads.

National rail projects to be inaugurated: During his visit, PM Modi will also dedicate multiple rail projects to the nation in order to improve connectivity. This includes doubling of the Darbhanga-Thalwara and Samastipur-Rambhadrapur rail lines, automatic signaling on the Samastipur-Bachhwara line and Bhatni-Chhapra Gramin line, as well as the doubling of the Darbhanga-Narkatiaganj line, aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing delays.
