The field for the second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs is almost complete. Ten teams remain in the playoff bracket, and six teams — the Thunder, Cavaliers, Pacers, Celtics, Timberwolves and Knicks — have already moved on to the second round. The Clippers held on to beat the Nuggets to force a decisive Game 7 on Saturday, and then the Houston Rockets followed suit, forcing a Game 7 on Sunday by beating the Warriors soundly on Friday night.
The playoff field will be whittled down to eight teams by the end of the weekend, and the second round will begin on Sunday, May 4.
