Pair of Exceptional Aston Martins lead further consignments for RM Sotheby’s Online-Only Auction in April

LONDON, ENGLAND – April 16, 2025 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – RM Sotheby’s is delighted to announce the addition of several significant consignments to its Shift Online: Europe and Middle East sale, which is set to take place from 23-28 April. With everything from limited run modern day Aston Martin’s to a 1932 Rolls-Royce 20/25 Sedanca de Ville by Barker, there is a collector car for everyone within the sale.

An incredible duo of exclusive Aston Martins lead the fresh consignments, with both 2024 Aston Martin DBR22 and 2024 Aston Martin Valour being offered with next to no miles on the clock and presented in the iconic shade of Aston Martin Racing Green. The vanishingly rare 2024 Aston Martin DBR22 is one of only 22 examples built, and draws inspiration from the celebrated open-cockpit racers of the firm’s past such as the DBR1. With no windscreen and a thumping 5.2-litre V-12 engine producing 705 brake-horsepower, the driving experience is nothing short of visceral—a perfect modern homage to the marque’s extraordinary competition bloodline. This box-fresh example is estimated to sell for between €1,900,000 – €2,100,000 EUR.

Beautifully finished in matching Aston Martin Racing Green is a 2024 Aston Martin Valour, one of just 110 limited-edition examples built to celebrate Aston Martin’s 110^th anniversary. With retro looks inspired by the V8 Vantage, an incredible drivetrain featuring a twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V-12 mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, and celebrity fans including Gordon Ramsay, the Valour is one of Aston Martin’s most sought-after models of modern times and would undoubtedly take centre stage in any supercar collection. It is estimated to sell for between €1,400,000 – €1,600,000 EUR.

Similarly exclusive, a 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series Project One Editionis set to make a rare appearance at public auction. The highly limited-edition variant of the track-focused AMG GT Black Series was only made available to AMG One hypercar allocation holders at launch, making today’s ownership circle a very exclusive club. Offered directly from the care of its first and only owner and with a mere 2,141 kilometres on the clock, it is estimated to sell for between €450,000 – €550,000 EUR.

The modern hypercars will be joined by a tastefully specified example of the record-breaking 1993 Jaguar XJ220, which was upgraded with BBS alloy wheels and an improved braking system in February 2018 by pre-eminent XJ220 specialist Don Law Racing. Presented with 4,492 kilometres on the clock, it is estimated to sell for between CHF300,000 – CHF350,000. Those who enjoy their cars with a competition flavour will appreciate a 2000 Porsche 911 GT3 R ‘RSR Specification’, a spectacular example that boasts a remarkable race history having contested the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 24 Hours of Spa, and the Nürburgring 1000 Km during its storied career (Estimate: €300,000 – €500,000 EUR).

Also recently added to the sale is a 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 ‘Eleanor’ by Classic Recreations, which is an officialy licensed reproduction of “Eleanor”, the 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 that starred in the 2000 film Gone in 60 Seconds(Estimate: $200,000 – $250,000 USD). A gorgeous 1963 Citroën ID 19 Décapotable by Chapron offers both style and glamour, while benefitting from a recent four-year restoration (Estimate: €160,000 – €200,000 EUR).

For those looking for Porsches, there is no shortage, with an exceptional selection offered including a beautiful 1970 Porsche 911 S 2.2 Coupé (Estimate: €150,000 – €200,000 EUR), a 1966 Porsche 911 Coupé (Estimate: €130,000 – €170,000 EUR), and a 1953 Porsche 356 Pre-A 1500 Cabriolet by Reutter (Estimate: €190,000 – €220,000 EUR).
