There were again two in-season top 16 reveals leading up to the 2025 NCAA women’s basketball tournament, as the selection committee shared which teams are currently ranked in their top 16 ahead of Selection Sunday.
The first reveal came as the countdown hit one month before the official selections. The second came a little more than two weeks out from selections:
Beginning in 2015, these preliminary, in-season rankings have offered insight into the committee’s criterion for seeding and selection while allowing the fortunate fans of college basketball’s best teams to see how they stand barely a month before March Madness.
The official, full 68-team tournament bracket will be announced at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 16 on ESPN.
