Together, they helped lead the United States to an emphatic victory, defeating Poland in the final. Fritz will play his first match against Jenson Brooksby.
Fritz’s projected quarterfinal is No. 5 seed Daniil Medvedev, who will be looking to avenge an ATP Finals defeat to the American last fall. The 2024 finalist will open against Kasidit Samrej, with No. 25 seed Alexei Popyrin his first seeded opposition.
An intriguing all-American first round includes No. 21 seed Ben Shelton and Brandon Nakashima, while Kyrgios looms as a potential third round for Zverev. He will open against Jacob Fearnley.
