Isha Ambani paired her appliqué midi dress with earrings from her mother’s collection
Recently, as a chair of the host committee, Ambani attended the Serpentine Galleries’ summer party—its invite-only annual fundraiser gala—held in London in a space designed by Mexico City-based architecture studio LANZA Atelier. She wore a red georgette slip midi dress with an asymmetric hem by London-based designer Steve O Smith, reminiscent of the silhouettes from the Flapper. From the designer’s A/W26 collection called Metropolis, the dress features a pink silk satin sash fashioned like a cross between a bow and a flower. Smith, a winner of LVMH’s Karl Lagerfeld Prize in 2025 famous for his wearable art aesthetic, used his signature appliqué techniques alongside the heavy-handed use of black glass beads and stacked sequins to lend the dress a three-dimensional feel.
To accessorise the artsy look, stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania turned to some very precious jewels. She paired rings from British jewellery designer Glenn Spiro with earrings from Nita Ambani’s personal collection. On the middle finger of the left hand was a Burmese ruby weighing 4.11 cts surrounded by two pear-shaped diamonds, followed by an octagonal pink tourmaline weighing 14.40 cts set in a rose gold bezel embellished with diamonds. The showstopper was the solo ring on the right hand featuring two rubellites—a stone rarer and more precious than tourmaline—flanked by a myriad small diamonds. The shoes were Leva 105 sandals by Manolo Blahnik. The Ambani family are patrons of Glenn Spiro’s jewellery, having worn his pieces often in the past. Nita Ambani’s headline-making moment at the premiere of The Ba***ds of Bollywood in Mumbai featured an ultra-rare Paraíba tourmaline necklace with a magnificent gemstone flower from the designer.
