And baby makes three!
Less than a year after officially retiring from tennis, former world No. 4 Caroline Garcia announced Sunday that she and husband Borja Duran are expecting their first child.
The couple revealed the happy news in a joint post to their social media accounts, where they walked along the beach at the scenic Hotel Fairmont Mayakoba Riviera Maya in Mexico wearing blue and holding sonogram photos. A popular player amongst her peers, Garcia’s news was received warmly by WTA players including Paula Badosa, Barbora Krejcikova and Jasmine Paolini, as well as former world No. 1 Garbiñe Muguruza, who just had a son, and Ons Jabeur, who will welcome a son next month.
While the couple didn’t explicitly reveal the gender of their upcoming new addition, perhaps their blue outfits were meant to be a hint?
