A wild Saturday across college basketball delivered a number shocking upsets, as Wisconsin, Florida, Auburn, West Virginia and Texas each outmatched its ranked opponents. Catch up on all the action below of this exciting slate of games.

Wisconsin stunned No. 2 Michigan on Saturday, rallying from a 14‑point first‑half deficit to earn a 91‑88 road win and hand the Wolverines its first loss of the season.

The Badgers trailed 31‑17 midway through the first half but chipped away behind John Blackwell, who scored 16 of his team‑high 26 points before halftime. Wisconsin closed the half on a 10‑0 run and trailed just 38‑37 at the break after holding Michigan scoreless for the final 3:53.

Freshman Aleksas Bieliauskas ignited Wisconsin’s second‑half surge, hitting four 3‑pointers in the first three minutes after halftime. His shooting helped the Badgers flip the deficit into a 59‑55 lead as both offenses started trading blows. Wisconsin shot better than 85% from the field early in the second half, while Michigan countered with a stretch of seven straight made shots to tie the game at 65‑65.

The teams continued to go back and forth through seven ties and five lead changes, but Andrew Rohde delivered the decisive punch with a 3‑pointer under three minutes left that gave Wisconsin an 88‑84 lead. The Wolverines had no choice but to start fouling and though they closed within two in the final minute, Wisconsin held possession and closed out the upset.

The win marked one of Wisconsin’s most impressive performances of the season — shooting 14 of 18 from the field and 9 of 12 from deep in the second half—and made the right defensive stops against a Michigan team that had dominated its opponents all year.

West Virginia upsets No. 22 Kansas 85-75 with dominant second‑half run

West Virginia delivered its biggest win of the Ross Hodge era Saturday, using a dominant second‑half surge to upset No. 22 Kansas, 85‑75, at home. The Jayhawks led 59‑51 after Tre White’s 3-pointer with 14:55 remaining, but they went scoreless for nearly eight minutes as the Mountaineers ripped off a 16‑0 run. By the time White ended the drought, West Virginia had seized a 67‑59 advantage and full control of the game.

Honor Huff powered the comeback with 23 points, including 17 after halftime and a pivotal four‑point play that pushed the lead to double digits. Brenen Lorient added 18 points and six assists, while Harlan Obioha posted an 11‑point, 10‑rebound double‑double.

West Virginia’s defense held Kansas to 31% shooting in the second half and just 13 scores on 30 possessions. The Mountaineers improved to 11‑5 and will see another ranked opponent when they visit No. 7 Houston Tuesday.

Auburn routs No. 15 Arkansas 95-33 behind Keyshawn Hall’s 30 bomb

Auburn delivered its most complete performance of what has been an up and down season of year one under Steve Pearl. The Tigers overwhelmed No. 15 Arkansas 95‑73 for its first SEC win. Keyshawn Hall powered the Tigers with a dominant 30‑point outing, scoring 18 in the first half and hitting five 3‑pointers while also adding five assists. His early shooting barrage and second‑half burst helped Auburn build a 49‑34 halftime lead and extend it to as many as 25.

KeShawn Murphy posted his first Auburn double‑double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Elyjah Freeman added 13 points and six boards. The Tigers controlled the glass, outrebounding Arkansas 22‑12 in the first half and finishing with nine made threes before the break. Auburn used runs of 8‑0 and 11‑0 to seize momentum and never trailed after the opening minutes.

Darius Acuff Jr. led Arkansas with 19 points, but the Razorbacks had no answer for Auburn’s physicality as the Tigers improved to 10‑6.

Florida blows out No. 21 Tennessee as Boogie Fland’s breakout fuels 91‑67 SEC upset

Florida overwhelmed No. 21 Tennessee 91‑67 behind a breakout game from Boogie Fland in Gainesville. Fland, who entered shooting just 19% from three, erupted for a season‑high 23 points, five assists and four steals while igniting a first‑half surge to close the frame. His back‑to‑back threes, steal and layup, and late jumper powered a 22‑7 run that sent the Gators into halftime up 41‑28.

Junior center Rueben Chinyelu dominated the interior with 17 points and 16 rebounds, outplaying Tennessee’s Felix Okpara and setting the physical tone. Florida out‑rebounded the Vols 41‑30 and turned 18 Tennessee turnovers into 30 points. Urban Klavzar added 15 points, Thomas Haugh scored 13, and four other Gators reached double figures as UF shot 58% after halftime and 80% at the line.

Nate Ament led Tennessee with 17 points, but the Vols never threatened after Florida’s early surge. The Gators improved to 11‑5 with their second straight win over a ranked opponent.

Texas fends off No. 13 Alabama for a 92‑88 road upset

Texas closed out a chaotic Saturday of upsets with one of its own, knocking off No. 13 Alabama 89‑85 in Tuscaloosa behind clutch shot‑making from Jordan Pope and Tramon Mark. The Longhorns, entered the game 0‑2 in SEC play, built a double‑digit second‑half lead behind a suffocating defensive stretch and a barrage of tough jumpers from Pope, who finished with 24 points. Mark added 22 and set the tone early, scoring 16 in the first half as Texas shot 50% before the break.

Alabama stormed back with an 11‑1 run to close the first half and later pulled within one in the final minute on a Taylor Bol Bowen 3‑pointer, but Texas steadied itself despite foul trouble and shaky free‑throw shooting. The Longhorns held the Tide to one field goal over a key early‑second‑half stretch and repeatedly answered Alabama’s pushes with timely threes and made the late free throws that mattered.

The win moved Texas to 10‑6 and delivered Sean Miller’s biggest victory of the season.
