IPL 2026 auction: Full list of purse left for all 10 teams after retention deadline | Cricket News

With just over a few weeks to go for the mini auction, all 10 Indian Premier League (IPL) teams revealed their revised squads, comprising the retained players and the released players ahead of the auction.

Here’s the full list of purse left for each IPL team, as they head into the IPL 2026 auction:

1. Mumbai Indians – Rs 2.75 crore

The Mumbai Indians will enter the auction with the least amount of money in their purse. The five-time champions only have Rs 2.75 crore as they enter the mini auction. The Hardik Pandya-led side released four overseas players – Lizaad Williams, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Bevon Jacobs and Reece Topley and a couple of Indian uncapped players – Vignesh Puthur and D Satyanarayana Raju.

2.Punjab Kings – Rs 11.5 crore

The 2025 runners-up will enter the IPL auction with Rs 11.5 crore in their purse. The Shreyas Iyer-led side released three Australian players – Glenn Maxwell, Josh Inglis and Aaron Hardie, along with two Indian players – Praveen Dubey and Kuldeep Sen.

3.Gujarat Titans – Rs 12.9 crore

2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Gujarat Titans will enter the auction with Rs 12.9 crores. The Shubman Gill-led side released five players from their squad – Karim Janat, Gerald Coetzee, Dasun Shanaka, Mahipal Lomror and Kulwant Khejroliya.

4.Rajasthan Royals – Rs 16.05 crore

The inaugural champions released both their Sri Lankan spinners – Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana, along with Afghanistan quick Fazalha Farooqi. They also released four Indian players – Akash Madhwal, Ashok Sharma, Kunal Rathore and Kumar Kartikeya and will enter the auction with Rs 16.05 crore.

5.Royal Challengers Bengaluru – Rs 16.4 crore

The defending champions will enter the auction with Rs 16.4 crore after releasing four players ahead of the auction. They have let go of Liam Livingstone and Lungi Ngidi among the overseas players and Mayank Agarwal and Swatik Chikara among the Indians.

6.Delhi Capitals – Rs 21.8 crore

The Delhi Capitals released six players ahead of the mini auction and will enter the auction with Rs 21.8 crore. A headline release was that of Faf du Plessis, who was one of three overseas players let go, along with Jake Fraser-McGurk and Sediqullah Atal. DC also released Mohit Sharma, Manvanth Kumar and Darshan Nalkande.

7.Lucknow Supergiants – Rs 22.9 crore

The Rishabh Pant-led Lucknow Supergiants will enter the auction with Rs 22.9 crore after releasing as many as seven players – Aryan Juyal, David Miller, Yuvraj Chaudhary, Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Akash Deep, Ravi Bishnoi, and Shamar Joseph.

8.Sunrisers Hyderabad – Rs 25.5 crore

Sunrisers Hyderabad will enter the auction with a purse of Rs 25.5 crore. The Pat Cummins-led side decided to release six players from their squad – Adam Zampa, Rahul Chahar, Wiaan Mulder, Abhinav Manohar, Atharva Taide and Sachin Baby.

9.Chennai Super Kings – Rs 43.4 crore

The five-time champions, who finished last on the points table in IPL 2025, will enter the IPL auction with the second-largest purse at Rs 43.4 crore. The Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side released as many as 10 players from their squad – Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway, Deepak Hooda, Vijay Shankar, Shaik Rasheed, Matheesha Pathirana, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Rahul Tripathi, Vansh Bedi and Andre Siddarth – and will look to rebuild at the mini auction.

10.Kolkata Knight Riders – Rs 64.3 crore

The Kolkata Knight Riders will have the largest purse among all teams at the mini auction. The three-time champions will enter the auction with a whopping Rs 64.3 crore. The onus will be on the revamped support staff of head coach Abhishek Nayar, Shane Watson and Tim Southee to rebuild the squad and make them contenders for the title in IPL 2026.
