Chapra Bihar Assembly Election 2025: The counting of votes for Bihar Assembly elections 2025 began Friday morning, with the Chapra constituency witnessing a strong fight between Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Chhoti Kumari, Rashtriya Janata Dal’s (RJD) Shatrughan Yadav and Jai Prakash Singh of the Jan Suraaj Party (JSP).
Early trends on the website of the Election Commission of India showed Chhoti Kumari leading from Chapra, as of 10:15 am, while Shatrughan Yadav trailed behind.
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has crossed the majority mark of 122 in early trend, currently leading in 191 seats in Bihar, while the Mahagathbandhan trails behind with 49 seats, TV channels showed, as of 11:02 am.

Chapra went to polls in the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections 2025 held on November 6. In the previous Assembly elections in 2020, BJP’s Dr CN Gupta won by a margin of 6,771 votes, while RJD’s Randhir Kumar Singh trailed behind securing 68,939 votes.
