Kerala Tourism has rolled out a host of new experiential products designed to capture the imagination of both domestic and international travellers as the festival and winter holiday season nears. At the ‘Network Kerala’ B2B Tourism Meet held at Crowne Plaza, Okhla in Delhi on October 30, Kerala Tourism Minister PA Mohamed Riyas said the state has set “a new model of sustainable and inclusive tourism development.” He added, “As a global brand, Kerala Tourism has made a paradigm shift by firmly positioning it as an inclusive, experiential and regenerative destination that offers diverse choices to visitors in the length and breadth of the state.”
A presentation by Tourist Information Officer S Sreekumar highlighted Kerala’s unique products and experiences, while a cultural showcase celebrated the state’s performing traditions.
Among the major highlights for the season is the upcoming sixth edition of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, opening on December 12. One of India’s most prestigious art events, which will run till March 31 2026, it turns Kochi into a hub for contemporary art and cultural exchange.
Kerala has also unveiled a ‘Vision Document’ outlining its long-term roadmap for tourism development. The document focuses on expanding wellness and adventure tourism, alongside heritage, cultural and spiritual experiences. It also envisions a digital and smart tourism ecosystem, featuring AI-based analytics, AR/VR experiences, smart ticketing and integrated visitor management.

The state’s recent initiatives have reportedly received strong responses at tourism fairs across India and abroad. Earlier this month, Kerala hosted a Travel Literary Festival, Yaanam 2025, in Varkala. The three-day event brought together travel writers and influencers from around the world.
While the state has been drawing attention for its women-friendly tourism policies and community-based sustainable tourism, steps are also being taken to build its credentials as a destination for weddings and MICE tourism (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions).
