The tour also credits an expansive global media rights deal, including a landmark partnership with Tennis Channel, with raising the profile of Challenger events. Before year’s end, events will have been broadcast from 20 countries to a record 33.8 million viewers.
“There’s more room to grow, and we’re working to unlock the opportunities to build on this progress,” Gaudenzi said.
In addition to the increase in prize money, the calendar will expand from from 216 to 265 events next year.
