England centre Fraser Dingwall has signed a contract extension with Northampton for the “2026-27 season and beyond”.
Dingwall joined the academy aged 14 and has made 150 first-team appearances, including the 2024 Premiership final against Bath, when Saints won their first title for a decade.
He has won three international caps so far and is in Steve Borthwick’s squad for the forthcoming autumn internationals.
His new deal follows those signed by Saints and England team-mates Fin Smith and Alex Mitchell.
“You’ve seen from the lads who’ve re-signed recently just how much this place means to us,” Dingwall said.
“But this isn’t just about loyalty – I genuinely believe Saints is the best place for me to keep improving.
“It’s an aspirational environment where players, coaches and staff are always pushing to be better. That’s something I’m fully committed to.”
Northampton are top of the Prem table following last Friday’s home win over Saracens and they have scored 181 points in five games so far.
“Dingers is outstanding – in his play, in his commitment, in his work-rate, in his leadership – and his impact within our set-up cannot be overstated,” said director of rugby Phil Dowson.
“He is someone who often flies under the radar and doesn’t always get the credit he deserves, but he’s a huge part of what we’re about.”
England will take on Australia at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham in their opening autumn Test on Saturday.
