Kurnool Bus Fire LIVE Updates: A major tragedy unfolded in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday after a bus caught fire, leaving several passengers feared dead. The Volvo coach, with around 40 people on board, was travelling from Hyderabad to Bengaluru when it went up in flames.
CM N Chandrababu Naidu Reaction: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed grief over the incident and assured support for the victims. “I am shocked to learn about the devastating bus fire accident near Chinna Tekur village in Kurnool district. My heartfelt condolences go out to the families of those who have lost their loved ones,” he wrote on X, adding that the government would provide all possible assistance to the injured and affected families.

Jagan Reddy urges government support for families: TDP MLA Nara Lokesh also conveyed his condolences, describing the news as heartbreaking and wishing a speedy recovery to those injured. Former chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy shared his anguish as well, urging the government to ensure adequate medical care and relief. “I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones,” he stated.
